This page outlines a problem - the Jeep Dash Defect - that usually is prone to the 2011 to 2018 Grand Cherokee (but may occur on more recent model years)
This issue may well occur on other models too, so be advised
The issue is commonly seen on Jeep Grand Cherokee models 2011-present.
What happens is the dash leather will bubble and in some instances even pull away from the actual dash in extreme conditions - i.e. excessive heat and/or humidity

THIS IS NOT THE RESULT OF WINDOW TINTING BEING APPLIED TO THE WINDSHIELD
You Can Read About this Issue on many forums across the internet where people have posted their nightmare with others
The Good News is it appears from many online Jeep Forums that the dash defect is known by the Chrysler corporation and it appears they may be covering repairs under a factory recall.
The hassle is scheduling the repair with the dealership to get the recall taken care of
THIS IS NOT THE RESULT OF WINDOW TINTING BEING APPLIED TO THE WINDSHIELD
Should you insist on us us to appling window tinting to your Jeep windshield and, for ANY reason, the dash covering pulls away from the dash after the installation has been done, WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBLITIY FOR REPAIRS because this is a well documented Factory Flaw and should be addressed with JEEP
In most cases we will simply not perform the install.
